Our cPanel shared hosting accounts include primary and secondary nameserver services in separate geographic locations.
For VPS customers or other hosting arrangements we use and recommend Rage4 Networks highly advanced DNS services which are available at very competitive pricing (or free depending on query volume). We also recommend and use Cloudflare.
Payments can be made by PayPal, Credit Card or via Direct Deposit to a bank account with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
VPS
FreeBSD requires a few extra steps to get virtio functionality working.
The virtio-kmod port needs to be installed and the loader.conf needs to be updated to load the virtio drivers at boot. fstab needs to be updated and rc.conf updated with an additional networking line. Note that these changes need to be made before the VM is powered down and rebooted with the virtio setting configured in the Solus control panel.
Yes, with justification. All plans can have extra IPs addresses added. Extra IP prices start at $3 per month per IP. If you have a legitimate need for many (more than 5) IPs on a single VPS service please contact us in advance to clarify your requirements.
Yes! It’s possible to upgrade or downgrade VPS services. KVM disk sizes can not be downgraded but other resource allocations can be changed up or down with both the KVM and the OpenVZ services.

Yes, if you file a ticket we can attach custom ISOs for you. It’s best to include a link to a HTTP or FTP site with the ISO desired. Alternatively we can arrange an FTP account for you to upload an ISO file for your OS! This is available for all KVM services.
At this stage we have to configure this on your behalf. It cannot be done in the Solus control panel. Please submit a ticket or contact us with your requested hostname. IPv6 reverse DNS entries can also be configured on request.
No but we are very close to local Australian mirror sites so performance to the mirror selected by your repository/software update tool should be consistently very good.
